The 43rd Annual Hidden City House & Garden Tour will take place
Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
As a part of our mission to promote the appreciation of Albany's magnificent architecture, Historic Albany hosts an annual House & Garden Tour showcasing 10-15 historic buildings and their gardens. The tour moves from neighborhood to neighborhood highlighting the very best in Albany's architecture and ongoing preservation efforts.
About the Tour
Center Square Association, Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association and Historic Albany Foundation are proud to present the 2018 Hidden City House & Garden Tour on Thursday, June 21 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Every year, this tour brings the neighborhoods to life as homeowners open their doors and gardens to the public. Guests are able to tour, at their leisure, the beautiful and historic homes and hidden gardens that make up the Center Square, Hudson/Park and Washington Park neighborhoods. Residents of these neighborhoods open their homes and gardens for one night only.
Never Been On The Tour? Here's How It Works:
TICKET PICK UP/DAY OF SALES : Trinity Church 235 Lark Street or Capital Wine at 348 State Street (Day Of Sales Only)
Once your tickets have been pre-purchased, your name(s) will go on the prepaid guest list for the day of the tour. Those purchasing on the day of the event will be given their ticket/map. We cannot give out tickets (the tickets act as your map and program as well) ahead of time in order to maintain the privacy of the gracious homeowners that are opening up their homes and gardens to the public on the day of the tour!
Tickets can be picked up (for the prepaid individuals) AND purchased from 4-7 pm at the designated pick up location: Trinity Church - 235 Lark Street. Day of ticket sales will also be available at Capital Wine - 348 State Street. Many people find parking on the streets off of Lark Street or in Washington Park. There is also a pay-to-park lot on the corner of Hamilton and Swan Streets. You will have to come down Swan from Madison Ave. and enter from Swan St.
Please note that houses & gardens will not open until 5:00 p.m. The tour is a self-guided, go-at-you-own-pace, whatever-order-you-desire type tour! Most of the homes are within walking distance to one another.
All tickets nonrefundable. Tour happens rain or shine!
