As a part of our mission to promote the appreciation of Albany's magnificent architecture, Historic Albany hosts an annual Holiday House Tour showcasing 10-15 historic buildings in December. The tour moves from neighborhood to neighborhood highlighting the very best in Albany's architecture and ongoing preservation efforts.
How it works: once you purchase tickets, your name will be on the list for ticket pick-up on the day of the tour. Pick up your tickets on the day of the tour at Touhey Forum in the Lally School of Education at 1009 Madison Avenue - the tickets are a map of all the sites. The tour is self-guided, so you can visit all of the houses at your leisure. There are "clusters" of houses so most people drive, park, and walk to a few houses at a time. The tour is rain, snow, or shine! No refunds on ticket purchases.
Online ticketing is now closed. Tickets may be purchased at the Touhey Forum in the Lally School of Education at 1009 Madison Avenue from 11 - 3 p.m. The houses will be open from noon - 4 p.m.
