Historic Albany Foundation 2007
Preservation Workshop Series
ALBANY, NY – February 9, 2007 – Historic Albany Foundation will begin
its 2007 Preservation Workshop Series with the Historic House Basics
Workshop on Saturday, February 17th at the Historic Albany Foundation’s
Architectural Parts Warehouse, 89 Lexington Avenue, from 10am - 12pm. Historic House Basics With Erin Tobin Erin Tobin will lead this workshop, which will focus on the different components of historic houses, from row houses to bungalows, covering both necessary regular maintenance and basic trouble-shooting methods. A preservation consultant and Executive Director of the James Marston Fitch Charitable Foundation, Erin Tobin most recently was Director of Preservation Services for Historic Albany Foundation. She holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Registration cost is $5 for members of Historic Albany Foundation, and $10 for non-members.
