ALBANY, NY -- August 22, 2001 -- As part of its Living Preservation series, Historic Albany Foundation will present An Introduction to Stained Glass and the Tiffany Windows of First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 6, 2001. The workshop will be presented at in the Rose Room at First Presbyterian Church, corner of State and Willett Streets in Albany from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

This seminar will cover both a general introduction to stained glass and an expository tour of the stunning Tiffany stained glass windows of the First Presbyterian Church. A slide presentation will provide an overview of the art, and answer many questions of those facing restoration issues with their own stained glass treasures. Participants are invited to bring their problem project (if it’s small enough) or a photo.
