Honorary Chairs For 2019 - Dianne & Phil Hansen

20171104_203630.jpg

This year, as HAF celebrates its 45th anniversary, we are honoring a very special couple who have been long time volunteers and supporters: Dianne and Phil Hansen.  As many of you may know, Dianne and Phil have been involved with Historic Albany as board members, volunteers, and have opened their lovely home for A Moveable Feast, Holiday House Tour, and House and Garden Tour.

The Hansens’ dedication to the Albany community also speaks volumes for their dedication to the built community and the fabric of our neighborhoods.  Dianne is president of the Manning Boulevard Neighborhood Association, and Phil is one of Albany’s small preservation developers.  While not a contractor by trade, he is restoring them as investment properties, returning under-loved homes to attractive, viable and contributing structures in their communities.  While always dapperly dressed for a meeting or event, Phil has also been known to be digging through the Parts Warehouse in his work clothes looking for parts for his projects.

We hope that you will consider joining us on the Honorary Committee, becoming a corporate sponsor, or joining us for dinner this year in honor of the Hansens and the 45th Anniversary of Historic Albany Foundation.

All proceeds directly support technical services, education programs and advocacy for historic preservation.
