Members Only Tour: The Masonic Temple & What Could Have Been - SOLD OUT

  • 67 Corning Pl Albany, NY, 12207 United States (map)

Have you ever wondered what secrets the Freemasons conceal behind the granite walls of their four-story Renaissance Revival style building on the corner of Lodge Street and Corning Place? Please join Mr. Michael A. Hernandez, a member of Mount Vernon Lodge #3, one of the oldest Masonic Lodges in the state, for a tour of this iconic building and a discussion of famous Albany Masons, and of the grand temple that was planned for the corner of Eagle & State Streets. Boosted by the donations of thousands of Freemasons, and led by Mayor & General Chairman William S. Hackett, this building was to be the crowning achievement of Albany Freemasons, so why was it never built?

Free for members.

THIS PROGRAM IS NOW SOLD OUT.
