Dear Friends in Preservation,

As a volunteer tour guide with Historic Albany Foundation, and someone who lives in a historic home, I know how important preservation is to Albany.

We are so fortunate to live in a city with such history and varied architectural styles.  Walking our streets has shown me the true importance of Historic Albany Foundation’s work to preserve what makes Albany special. From Ten Broeck Triangle to the Lustron Houses of Jermain Street and the neighborhoods in between, HAF’s tireless efforts have helped protect the buildings and spaces that make Albany unique, and I hope that you will join us in protecting what makes our city significant.

Will you help us build a future that honors the past?

Now, as Historic Albany Foundation enters our next 50 years, we're launching Fund the Future. Your financial support ensures that HAF can continue protecting and preserving the architecture that defines our community, as well as providing technical services, educational and DIY programming, operating our Architectural Parts Warehouse, in addition to the Tool Lending Library and Tool Truck far into the future.

Your gift to the Historic Albany Foundation Annual Fund has a direct impact: helping us preserve what makes Albany unique and supporting our office’s exciting move to 48 Hudson (the city's oldest building!) once our restoration is complete later this year.  As we continue to propel & sustain HAF, we are also pleased to announce new opportunities for you to make your gift through monthly contributions or a stock donation.

Your continued support brings us closer to our goals and strengthens our mission. It takes each one of us to be the caretakers of our history, and I appreciate your help in keeping Historic Albany Foundation’s mission alive for generations to come.

Sincerely,

Derek Baranski
