Walkabout Wednesdays Are Back!
Walkabout Wednesdays Kickoff — Trolley Tour of North Albany Join us Wednesday, May 20 for a special trolley tour through the historic district of North Albany! Local historian Mike Connors will lead a one-of-a-kind trolley tour highlighting the neighborhood’s rich history. We’ll visit signature sites including Nipper the dog, Erie Canal Lock One, author William Kennedy’s childhood home, the former National Grid gashouse, and finish with a tour of the beautiful Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. North Albany is a hidden gem of Albany’s history — the trolley is the perfect way to see it all. Don’t miss the kickoff to this summer’s walking tours!
