Historic Albany Foundation, with grants from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Preservation League of New York State, is working toward listing portions of Washington and Western Avenues from the Alfred E. Smith Building to the Downtown SUNY Campus on the National Register nomination as Albany’s newest historic district.
Join our consultant, Chris Brazee, for a tour of a portion of the proposed district and take in the eclectic mixture of architecture that has arisen along the gateway to Albany’s civic core.
